Shift of the Assembler: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Shift of the Assembler: M-F 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate of the Assembler:
$20-$23/hr DOE
Responsibilities of the Assembler:
- Electrical and mechanical assembly of instruments and sub-components
- Work from written instructions, schematics, SOPs that provide detailed assembly operations, and assembly drawings. Provide input on creating new or updating instructions and SOPs
- Perform programming, testing, and debugging of instruments
- Modify parts by using a variety of soldering techniques and hand and/or power tools, such as solder block, soldering iron, and various other hand tools
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with other manufacturing personnel and engineers to support R&D and process improvement activities to meet production goal
- Perform inspection and test of in-process and incoming materials as assigned
Requirements of the Assembler:
- High School Diploma required
- Technical degree or certificate a plus
- 3 years’ experience in electrical and mechanical assembly
- 3 years of soldering experience
- IPC-J-STD-001 and IPC-610 certified highly preferred
- Experience with analytical instrumentation is required
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Basic Mechanical/Electrical procedure reading, and troubleshooting are necessary to progress in role
- Prior experience working with Class IIIb lasers a plus
