What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skein Dye Loader position at The Dixie Group?
- Use squeeze lift truck to get bails of skeins and put in staging area.
- Remove 5 - 6.5 lbs. skeins from bail.
- Load carriers with skeins according to order sheet, using a scale.
- Once carrier has been loaded, reweigh bail and print new ticket for correct weight, and put back in correct location, to maintain correct inventory.
- Place order sheet on carrier, move carrier to beck staging area once loaded.
- Once beck is empty load carrier into beck using overhead crane.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job. If there is any reason you cannot comply with our corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy, please inform us of the situation.
- You must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e., starting and stopping times.
- Help extract and dry skein when needed.
- Use AS-400 to move inventory and make tickets.
- Paid Holidays-No waiting period.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.64 - $17.38 per hour
