What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Security position at The Don CeSar?
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute security protocols and procedures to safeguard the hotel/resort premises
- Manage a team of security personnel, providing leadership and training
- Monitor surveillance systems and conduct regular security audits
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response teams
- Investigate incidents, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging security technologies
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on security procedures
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures
- Proven experience in managing and leading a security team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in security systems and technology
- Relevant certifications in security management or law enforcement are a plus
