E&I Plant technicians are hired at basic level as members of a work team. E&I technician work teams are responsible for keeping production flowing, continuously update and train to increase their skills to meet our ever-changing production needs, meeting performance standards goals and maintaining the high level of quality in everything thing they do.

Responsibilities
E&I technicians do various types of work, including but not limited to the following:
- Make electrical repairs to run high-speed equipment.
- Execution of planned maintenance tasks.
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Get involved, take charge of situations, and confront business-related problems.
- Display electrical skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and data.
- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms.
Qualifications
All applicants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Must have Electrical Technical School / Military equivalent or 2 years Industrial.
- Electrical experience.
- Must be Low Voltage qualified or have the ability to do so within first month of
- onboarding.
- Need to have exposure to automated controls systems in a high-speed
- application.
- Strong technical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; and knowledge of PLC
- controls and computers.
