Our client, an entrepreneurial and fast-growing firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and leadership skills to manage key accounting functions and contribute to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Manage general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures
- Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in public accounting
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with data analysis and financial modeling tools
