Primarily responsible for all patient communication for surgery. The successful candidate must be a person with an optimistic outlook on life and have excellent interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Face to Face Counseling with all surgical patients.
- Chart Prep for all surgeries.
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of Eye Surgery.
- Schedule all patient surgeries. At the time of scheduling, provide clear instructions for surgery. Also E-prescribing all surgery medications to the pharmacy.
- Organize charts and collect all pertinent information.
- Prepare and fax all pre-operative paperwork to pts primary care, cardiologists etc. for Medical Clearance.
- Phone correspondence with surgical pts as needed.
- Correspondence with Comanaging OD’s.
