Position Summary: The Database Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s database management and handling agency-wide data. This role includes collecting data, ensuring data integrity, generating statistical reports, and providing statistical information to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Management:
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Collect, compile, and manage data from various sources to support organizational needs.
- Builds relationships across the organization to understand processes to better analyze data for business needs.
- Data Integrity:
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the database.
- Regularly audit data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Use additional internal and external data resources comparatively to support data integrity.
- Use critical thinking skills to interpret data and ensure outputs are in alignment with programmatic operations.
- Reporting:
- Produce and distribute statistical reports on a regular basis.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends or patterns, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
- Database Maintenance:
- Ensure the database is functioning efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Coordinate with IT staff to maintain system performance and implement upgrades as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field with 1-3 years of experience.
- Proven experience in database management and statistical reporting.
- Proficiency in database software and tools (e.g.,Salesforce).
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with funders and donors is a plus.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position. (M-F, 9am - 5pm)
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Hybrid schedule available
- Travel: Home Base: Ann Moody Place, Sallys House, and all scattered local site locations as needed.
Other Duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to sit, work on computer and answer phones at least 8 hours per day; ability to lift to 35 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, speak and listen; ability to drive agency vehicle and follow driving laws and keep passengers safe.
Working Conditions: Duties are usually performed seated with occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited physical effort is required associated with lifting and carrying objects (less than 35 lbs). Work may be performed but is not limited to an office environment.
Work Location: Work must be performed at the office or satellite offices due to client confidentiality.
