Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sports Management and Marketing professional. The Fennec sports bar manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of The Fennec’s Sport’s Bar and Grill, ensuring a high level of customer service, managing staff, and maximizing profitability. The individual in this role will be responsible for executing day-to-day management and marketing tasks. This includes developing and implementing marketing campaigns, promoting sporting events, coordinating with sports teams and organizations, and engaging with customers. The role requires strong communication skills, sports bar restaurant and marketing experience, and a passion for sports.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sports bar, inclusive of but not limited to managing the FOH and BOH, opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and execute season marketing strategies with Marketing team to create specials, promote events, and attract sports fans
- Hire, train, and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by interacting with guests, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sports industry trends and dynamics
- Experience in sports marketing, sports marketing sales, and/or sports bar management
- Ability to create and execute marketing strategies
- Two years plus in Sports Bar Management a plus
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Sports Bar and Restaurant Management, or a related field
