We have an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of our Living History Museum, Cracker Country! We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as General Store Cashiers during the 2024 Florida State Fair, playing a crucial role in supporting our mission of preserving and celebrating history.
SUMMARY
General Store Cashiers support the Living History Museum, Cracker Country by maintaining the souvenir shop, keeping a balanced cash drawer and providing stellar customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General Store Cashiers are responsible for completing sales of merchandise. Cashiers will operate a computerized screen for transactions.
- Cashiers assist with stocking, customer service and light cleaning of the work area.
- Must be available to work During the 2024 Florida State Fair February 8th Through February 19th.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
-Minimum of one (1) year of experience in cashiering, cash handling, and/or cash and credit card transactions.
-Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service.
-Must know how to use a computer and be familiar with modern cash register technology.
-Experience working in a specialty gift shop or museum store environment is a plus.
Salary : $23,400 - $29,600
