The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Legal Rankings & Awards Specialist role to join the marketing team at a top DC law firm. The Specialist will write and edit a wide array of marketing materials to best position the firm, attorneys, and practice groups in industry publications and the news. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with marketing experience who is looking to continue to grow in a law firm setting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Draft award nominations, editorial submissions, and news releases
- Collaborate with marketing team on legal directory submissions
- Write, review and edit content for award nominations
- Keep track of deadlines, nomination results, and update the team
- Research new opportunities for legal directory and legal awards
- Coordinate with a variety of legal publications specifically with awards and nominations
- Assist with other media relations and communications projects
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 3 years of marketing or public relations experience
- Law firm experience strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate with attorneys, media, and other professionals
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
