- We are seeking an experienced Lead Program Manager to oversee the development, construction, and transition to operation of a Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Facility for our Client. In this high-impact role, you will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts between engineering, procurement, and construction stakeholders using Client’s proprietary program and project management methodologies (based on PMI standards).
- The ideal candidate has direct experience leading Client projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex project lifecycles from concept through commissioning.
- Lead all phases of LNG facility development, from planning and procurement to construction and operational handoff.
- Apply Client’s project management methodology and PMI standards to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and risk objectives are met.
- Coordinate project governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting protocols. Define business needs and project deliverables; manage costs, resources, performance metrics, and timelines.
- Oversee resource planning, team composition, and staffing strategies to ensure efficient project execution.
- Manage project contracts alongside sourcing teams: prepare RFPs, evaluate bids, participate in contract negotiations, and oversee vendor execution.
- Own the communication strategy: deliver clear, consistent updates on project status, risk assessments, and stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure change management, training, documentation, and successful transition to operations upon project completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required 15 years' program management experience
- Someone who has worked in LNG (liquid natural gas field) and taken project through from beginning to end
- Proven track record of successfully managing Client projects Deep understanding of LNG field and LNG projects (from beginning to end)
- Strong contract management and vendor coordination experience
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and project tracking systems Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lead in a diverse, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment
- This role is hybrid and requires onsite presence in Madison, WI 3 days per week Strong potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs
