Hair Salon Front Desk Receptionist/ Hairstylist

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and provide exceptional customer service. Your role will consist of assisting salon guests with check-in and check-out procedures, answering inquiries in regards to salon and spa services, assisting other hairstylists on the salon floor and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their experience. A cosmetology license is not required, but it is preferred.

Front Desk Duties:

• Assist staff as needed
• Monitor and assist with social media channels
• Skilled in Canva
• Assist guests with products and other purchases
• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Maintain accurate guest records and process payments
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
• Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Skills:

• Able to explain and assist guests with our service menu and product selections.
• Exceptional sales skills
• Excellent hospitality management skills
• Product Knowledge
• Bilingual/multilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving abilities to handle guest concerns or complaints
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Hair Stylist Duties:

• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting
• Shampooing, blow drying, coloring, cutting and styling hair
• Maintain cleanliness of salon
• Staying up to date on current hair cutting and styling trends
• Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner

Hair Stylist Skills:

• High School diploma/GED required
• A valid Cosmetology license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willing to learn, grow and be accepting of critiques to perfect your craft.
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• A Clientele is preferred but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.47 - $17.35 per hour
