What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent position at The Gin Hotel?
We are looking for an honest and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor at our hotel starting with training starting in the next couple of days. This can be a part time or full time position depending on your availability. This position would be for Night Shift (11pm-7am). Our Front Desk Agents are responsible for checking guests into their rooms and handling the checkout process. Night Shift will be responsible for setting up breakfast, performing safety walks, and ensuring the Nightly Audit is run.
While performing these duties, the Front Desk Agent must ensure that all payments and credit card charges are processed properly and recorded in the guest's permanent file. The right candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, is capable of working independently, and has an eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Use common sense to deal with customers and maintain order.
- Have knowledge of hotel's policies and procedures.
- Keep track of customer's credit card information and make sure that they have signed receipts.
- Answer guest questions by using resources at work.
- Handle customer concerns by acting according to hotel policies and procedures.
- Be courteous to guests by being well-dressed, polite, and helpful.
