The Goddard School located in Pflugerville, TX is looking for experienced Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team of outstanding educators. Opportunities are available in multiple age groups, and the final placement will be based on the applicant's skillset and the school's needs.
Our Lead Teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. They will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment and work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Job Requirements
- Meets background check eligibility
- Prior experience in the role at a licensed childcare center
- CDA or a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Has successfully completed state-mandated pre-service training
- Knowledge of Texas Rising Star (TRS) and/or NAEYC standards is a definite plus
- Excellent classroom management skills, especially when redirecting behaviors in the classroom
- Ability to create/Customize age-appropriate lesson plans
- Comfortable using technology and iPad apps for documenting children's care, learning, and developmental milestones in a portfolio
- Is dependable, adaptable and enjoys working in teams
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infants and Toddlers teachers, must be able to properly lift children into and out of a crib
