What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at THE GODDARD SCHOOL - WEST WINDSOR, NJ?
The Goddard School at West Windsor is looking for camp counselors for our summer camp program for our Junior (6 weeks to 3 years), Senior (ages 3 to 5) and Adventurers (6 ) for the 2022 summer. Our Summer Camp program begins on Monday, June 27 through Thursday, Sept. 2.
Our Adventurers will be going on a variety of trips to fun places such as a Trenton Thunder baseball game, iPlay, Field Operation: Dinosaurs, Philadelphia Zoo, Diggerland and others in both NJ and Pennsylvania. Our Senior campers will also enjoy several trips including Rutgers Gardens and Mercer County Park. Our student to teacher ratio on these outings will be 5:1. There will also be an opportunity for candidates to spend some time in a classroom during spring break to familiarize themselves with the school and our program.
Camp Counselors will be responsible for the children in their group during field trips. On days when we are in the school, the counselor will be responsible for carrying out that day's activities. We would also love if counselors could bring some of their own creativity into the classroom with fun and educational activities for the older kids to enjoy.
