Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervision to a group of employees
- Preparing VIP and Special requested guest rooms
- Responsible for the performance of Houseman and Room Attendants
- Supervise daily task for Room Attendants
- Organize and facilitates the room making process
- Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and heart of the house area of each section and floor including service area and closets
- Checks the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to guest needs
- Resolves issues associated with out of service, and pick up rooms
- Ensures that the entire operation is performed as per the hotel standards
- Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating with relevant team members
- Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure standards are met
- Aware of all room categories and amenities
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Report maintenance issues to GRS/Engineering Department
- Communicate with GRS team due outs and room status
- Room status clearing and report
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager with training requirements
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned or directed
