What are the responsibilities and job description for the Uniform Attendant position at The Grand & Little America Hotel, Utah?
The Uniform Attendant is responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing clean uniforms to personnel according to company specifications. A Uniform Attendant should be able to effectively communicate with other employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clean uniforms and personal storage bags to employees at the start of their shift.
- Separate incoming laundry/dry cleaning and place in appropriate laundry bins.
- Ensure clean uniforms are hung in their proper conveyor slot.
- Assist the seamstress in securing and fitting correct uniforms for new employees.
- Using the database folder or computer assigns new employee conveyer slots.
- Before new employees leave the uniform issue area, review method of uniform retrieval and hours of operation for uniform issue with them.
- Rotate uniform issue stock. Assign used uniforms to employees first. This will extend the life of new uniforms and reduce unneeded uniform orders.
- Maintain stock of uniforms.

- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying heavyweights.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
