The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Batavia is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.
RN Duties Include:
- Management responsibilities including maintaining exceptional quality of care.
- Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
- Serve the nursing needs of all residents in the facility.
- Assist in creating and directing care plans for nursing services.
- Maintain and disseminate knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical records.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staff.
- Maintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needs.
- Assist Director of Nursing with daily responsibilities.
RN Requirements:
- Current New York State RN license required.
- Minimum three years’ experience in Long-Term Care settings.
- Staff training with clinical staff.
- Excellent Communication Skills required.
- Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision.
