Field Operations Manager-Dumpster and Site Service Division

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dumpster and site service rental division, ensuring that drivers follow safety protocols, equipment is properly loaded and maintained, and jobs are completed efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coach drivers, monitor job costs, and jump in to assist the team when needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both field and office settings to support smooth, profitable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise drivers and enforce company protocols and safety standards
• Ensure all trucks are properly loaded and secured before leaving the yard
• Ensure pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections are completed
• Perform spot checks at job sites to ensure service quality and protocol compliance
• Monitor and control job costs, labor hours, and overtime
• Coach drivers on performance, professionalism, and customer service expectations
• Work with dispatch to plan efficient daily routes and ensure timely departures
• Maintain yard organization and readiness for next-day operations
• Jump in to assist with loading during high-volume or emergency situations
• Track and report performance data, driver issues, safety violations, and operational bottlenecks
• Support ongoing development and enforcement of SOPs and operational improvements
• Collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost team accountability
• Perform onsite estimates and post install audits when needed
• Will work in both our Sylmar and Chatsworth Locations

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management or a related field.
• Strong skills in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities.

• Experience in profit loss management and financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Background in Construction, dumpsters is a plus and/or Fencing/portable restroom service.

Pay: $66,560.00 - $70,000.00 per year
