Position: Dealer
Department: Table Games
Primary Responsibilities:
•Provide guests with the highest level of customer service including greeting
customers, making eye contact, and maintaining an engaging
expression
•Responsible for knowing all policies and procedures of the
specific game he/she is dealing
•Provides all pertinent information to the
players regarding hand totals or winning numbers and calculates payable odds to
pay winning wagers.
•Verifies beginning and ending chip and money balances
and confirms supporting documentation.
•Monitors game and notifies supervisor
of any disputes, problems, or concerns with patrons as well as concerns of the
patrons.
•Initiates each round of play by dealing the cards/tiles, offering
dice, spinning the ball, or following the requirements established for each
game.
Secondary Responsibilities:
•Maintains a clean, safe, and
hazard free work environment within their area of responsibility.
•Recognizes
internally issued promotional coupons and handles accordingly.
•Exchanges
paper currency for chips and receives fill and distributed credits with the
proper notification.
•Observes all wagers placed and reports anything
suspicious to the supervisor
•Complies with all regulatory
requirements.
•Creates and ensures an exciting and fun filled
environment.
Normal Working Hours:
•Must be able to work any shift,
any days, and available on holidays.
In order to be successful in this position, the
ideal candidate must meet the following criteria
Past Work Experience Requirements:
•Minimum one year experience in the
hospitality industry.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate from an accredited gaming school or
equivalent.
Skilled in minimum of one major games (Blackjack, Roulette,
Baccarat, Craps, Pai Gow Poker)
Must be able to obtain a state issued gaming
license.
Educational Requirements:
•High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
•Certificate from an accredited
gaming school or equivalent
Communication Skills Requirements:
•Must be able to
effectively communicate with customers.
