What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician position at THE GREENERY, INC?
Main Function: Troubleshoot field issues such as valves not working, bad solenoids, cut wires, and bad modules. Candidate must have experience in operating a locator, wiring and re-wiring irrigation clocks and programming decoders.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience of 2 wire and conventional irrigation
- New installation and maintenance experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Adhere to Company’s safety policy and ensure that the public and co-workers will be safe while performing job duties
Requirements:
- Must be able to perform job responsibilities that require physical endurance and the ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
