Groundskeeper
The Groundskeeper will report to the Head of Buildings & Maintenance and will assist with other department duties as needed. This is a weekend, part-time position. Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
The Primary Duties include daily weekend morning campus maintenance prior to visitors, substrate management, debris and compost management, downed tree clearing, and erosion control measures. During the winter season this position will also assist with snow/ice management.
The position will receive training and safety certification on required vehicles and equipment. A valid North Carolina Driver’s License is required.

Job Requirements:
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team
- Weekends are required
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching above shoulder lever, climbing stairs and prolonged standing
- Use of utility vehicles and power tools
