About the Company - The Greer Group is recruiting a Direct Hire Sales Representative for our international Client located in the Greater Wake County area! The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory or market. This individual will be delivering exceptional service and promoting innovative foam products to customers in various industries.

About the Role - Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets.
  • Conduct research to identify potential leads and customers in alignment with business goals.
  • Establish relationships with existing customers.

Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develop and execute detailed sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Set and track measurable goals for sales growth, focusing on both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, product development and logistics, to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the sales strategies.
  • Pipeline Management

  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects, ensuring regular follow-ups and relationship building.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales reports to management.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years’ experience in outside sales.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the foam, manufacturing, or materials industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and explain product specifications and applications.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory or market.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
