What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscaping Crew Member Bilingual position at The Grounds Guys of Energy Corridor?
The Grounds Guys of Cinco Ranch is currently searching
- Must have a valid Drivers License and be able to drive a truck with trailer attached.
- Must have attention to detail. Must be able to effectively communicate with other crew members while working alongside them. Must be a team player.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in landscape, irrigation or construction projects.
- Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Performs materials handling and storage.
- Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
- Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches.
- Lay sod, plant, mow, trim, dig, rake, prune, mulch, sprinkler installation, and load and unload materials.
- Plant and maintain flower beds.
- Properly and safely operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences, and other objects.
- Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris on to the turf before mowing. Mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing.
- Perform weeding by hand.
- Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers and coworkers.
- Brings problems to the attention of the CEO, or Operations Manager.
- Must uphold company policies, procedures, and company core values at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
