This role is for weekend treatments only. The shifts are typically 3-4 hours or however long it takes for treatments & charting to be completed. The hours are flexible and the individual may choose when to come in for the day. A few of the essential functions of the job include :
1. Consults with Nursing team concerning assessment evaluations and assist in planning an developing the skin care treatment to be performed.
2. Initiate requests for consultation or referral.
3. Examines the Guest and their records and discriminate between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize when to refer the Guest to a physician for evaluation, supervision or directions.
4. May act as a Unit Nurse when needed / if shifts are available that the individual would like to pick up.

As a Wound Care Nurse you are instrumental in improving the lives of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at The Grove Evanston by providing support to the Wound Care Director and wound care team.
