Job Summary
· Estimate the cost of a job to accurately produce quotes for the customer.
· Requires extensive knowledge of a vertical machine center as well as products and service.
· Capable of performing tasks in multiple areas of the functional discipline, but will be a content expert in one or more.
· Work assignments require deep discipline-specific knowledge and/or experience and this individual will be sought out to address problems as well as questions.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
You will become an expert in the product line, production capabilities, and cost structure related to satisfying our customer’s requirements.
· Work within company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to search and review data, as well as input of information.
· Responsible for developing estimates and quoting with an understanding of the pricing/quoting model to meet customer requests.
· Participate in the ‘after’ Quote process (After Action Review – AAR).
· Develop, implement, and improve process instructions and standard works.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while still meeting deadlines
· Impeccable problem solving skills
· Ability to read machining prints and run a CNC machine
Requirements
Qualifications & Competencies:
· Experience working as a machinist or craftsman.
· Three to five years’ experience with custom manufacturing quoting processes a plus.
· Outstanding Excel skills including formulas, lookup tables, and ODBC links.
· Experience with computer software including MS Office and ERP software.
· Experience in low volume, high variety manufacturing a plus.
· Associates Degree and Relative Certifications a plus.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
