Salon Assistant
We are looking for a positive, professional & motivated Hair Salon Assistant to assist in running our salon and coordinate day-to-day activities. To be successful in this role, you should be interested in beauty trends and familiar with hair salon operations. Ultimately, you will help us build a profitable hair salon business that offers a quality customer service experience. Experience not necessary, we will train our perfect candidate!
Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to the following:
- Greet and welcome incoming clients and direct them to various parts of the salon to receive treatments
- Shampoo clients hair when needed
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule customers for appointments
- Clean all work areas. This includes sweeping floors, taking out trash, wiping down styling and hair washing stations, and sterilizing all styling tools after use. Hair stylist assistants also wash and dry smocks, towels, and other fabrics used
- Stock inventory items and report low stock items to Salon Manager
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
