What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hoop Troop position at The HEAT Group?
The Hoop Troop displays the ultimate Miami HEAT spirit and gets the arena and fans energized each game night through crowd interaction, on court contests and arena promotions. The Hoop Troop also participates in HEAT community outreach and marketing events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Interacts and enthusiastically engages the crowd by leading chants, distributing giveaways, t-shirt tosses, etc.
- Coordinates and executes entertainment, contests and promotions on the court and on the concourses.
- Responsible for set-up and breakdown of any events including putting up signage, decorations, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the department.
