What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Mental Health Professional or Registered Intern position at The Henry & Rilla White Foundation?

The Henry & Rilla White Youth Foundation, a non-profit human services organization, is seeking a licensed mental health professional or register intern to provide comprehensive evaluation services for Department of Juvenile Justice referred youth.

A Standard Comprehensive Evaluations is a thorough analysis of the youth in Five domains of a youths life (i.e. Vocational, Academic, Medical, Mental health, and Substance abuse) and includes administration of an in-depth evaluation of one (1) or more of these areas where indicated. The level of functioning and treatment needs. The Standard Comprehensive Evaluation builds on information and data generated in previous screening and assessments of the youth and shall include a face-to-face interview of the youth section

The standard comprehensive evaluation will consist of multiple tools administered by clinician and then a comprehensive report will be completed to summarize and document the findings.

Evaluations are required to be completed face to face, this can consist of a Foundation Office, JPO office, Detention Holding Facility, or Community Safe Area (i.e. school, library etc.)

 

This will be a part time contract, hours will be based off of referrals received. Clinician will be given an allotted number of hours to complete evaluation and report. Foundation expects consistent referrals from the department.

 

Qualifications:

A licensed mental health professional means a psychiatrist licensed pursuant to chapter 458 or 459, F.S. who is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a psychologist licensed pursuant to chapter 490, F.S., or a mental health counselor, clinical social worker or marriage and family therapist licensed pursuant to chapter 491, F.S.

Or

A mental health clinician with a Master's Degree major in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy and shall be registered intern as a mental health counselor or Registered Social Worker Intern or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern.
