Spark Homestead is a standalone residential treatment program specializing in autism, located in Payson, Utah. It is tailored to be an all-girls environment, for teens in 9th – 12th grades, helping neurodiverse females to gain self-identity, confidence, and resilience! Besides treatment, we provide a full curriculum, and year-round school as part of helping our students discover a love of learning and confidence in their education. We are accredited by the Utah State Board of Education as a special education school, and utilize instructional pedagogy that is centered on project-based learning.
Spark Academy is a co-ed, residential treatment program for adolescents specializing in trauma, mood disorders, adoption and attachment issues, and similar diagnoses. Students in Spark Academy have faced adverse experiences that have negatively impacted their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We strive to engage our students to connect to their resiliency and empower them to build on that to take charge of a thriving future!
The Heritage Community is a treatment program for teens, and we seek to hire dedicated employees to work during our graveyard shift. We will hire a candidate who can work independently, being alert and attentive to provide a positive, safe milieu for the students in our care. We provide flexible work schedules, paid on-duty meals, and free internet access. Once every job task is completed during a shift, Night Coaches have the ability to complete school work or other tasks during downtime, while the students are sleeping. This position is a great opportunity for current college students, or those seeking a secondary job for supplemental income, or for anyone needing a less-conflicting work schedule with daytime obligations!

Schedule:

Two shifts per week. The work schedule will be coordinated upon hire.

Sunday - Thursday shifts are 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
- Friday and Saturday shifts are 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to stay awake, alert, and attentive to provide efficient supervision and safety for the students.

Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents.

Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of mental health.

Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise the students during the night, providing a safe and secure, caregiving environment.

Properly use a variety of mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students who may wake during the night, and need support and guidance during escalated moments.

Wake the students in the morning and supervise them during their initial morning tasks.

Assure that all paperwork and documentation requirements are met in an effective manner.

Previous graveyard shift experience highly preferred.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 20 years of age or older to apply.

Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
