What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Planner position at The Hibbert Group?
* This position is located onsite in Trenton, NJ. Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of clients marketing and promotional programs by working with designated client contacts as well as the necessary internal personnel. Develop, interpret and confirm customer specifications for designated programs/projects. Provide regular account communications related to program/project status and deliverables. Provide appropriate escalation and alerts impacting client deliverables. Insure appropriate document retention and quality control levels are maintained throughout the program/project lifecycle. Development of client specific documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of programs/projects including but not limited to job specifications, job status and estimates.
- Prepare and distribute accurate production instructions necessary to expedite jobs.
- Coordinate with purchasing department for any supplies or services that are needed from outside vendors.
- Monitor progress for all active jobs; keeping clients, Sales and Account Team members informed of status and developments.
- Ongoing review of jobs and recommendations for improvements including review of production methods, shipping and postal methods.
- Adhere to quality assurance procedures including jacket checking.
- Provide program/project status to clients and management as required.
- Transition (to client, coworkers, etc), as necessary, to ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop and utilize quality control checklists.
- Cross-train within teams for improved backup coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and adhere to all ISO 9001 related standards.
- Comply with all safety policies and report any safety issues immediately to a manager.
- Comply with all privacy policies and report any privacy infractions immediately to a manager.
- Ensure delivery, integrity and quality of work
- Attend Account Team and Production meetings as required.
- Displays behavior and judgment that consistently upholds Hibbert ACT values.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of project management skills.
- Knowledge of direct mail, marketing, and postal regulations.
- Understanding of data flow and file structure as to how it relates to assigned programs/projects.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- General math skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Demonstrate working proficiency of the English Language.
- Effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc).
- Successfully comprehend business materials written in English (job assignments, instructions, etc).
- Ability to learn cGMP requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on cGMP service lines.
- Ability to learn PDMA requirements as it relates to their role -- required prior to working on Prescription Drug service lines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED required.
College degree preferred.
Moderate lifting to 40 pounds.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior client service experience.
