Essential Job Functions *
- Communicates with carriers to schedule inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Tracks outbound shipments to ensure proper delivery; follows up to resolve issues
- Ensures orders are waved according to established priorities
- Communicates with customer service and branch distribution staff to ensure the timely shipment of orders from multiple areas
- Ensure roll-out/script orders ship according to schedule
- Expedites the shipment of priority orders and enters shipment data into customer TMS system
- Files a variety of shipping documents and places orders for warehouse supplies
- Train and provide back-up for wave planning, as needed

Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college courses preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of shipping procedures, including bills of lading.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Windows. Able to learn and use automated traffic software (TMS) and in-house applications.
- Good organization skills and attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication and skills. Able to work accurately from both written and verbal instructions.
- Able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
