What are the responsibilities and job description for the Duty Aide position at The Honors Academy of Literature?
We are a small Public Charter School on downtown Reno looking to hire a team of Duty Aides for the upcoming school year.
This position involves working with a team of adults to supervise Kindergarten through 8th-grade students during recess and lunch to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment.
- Supervises students on the playground and in the lunchroom.
- Consistently enforces school standards of behavior and discipline procedures.
- Be conscious of and working toward the health and safety of the students on the playground and lunch areas.
- Render first aid if needed.
- Assumes other duties as assigned on a temporary basis.
This is a part-time, entry-level position, approx 25 hours a week.
- Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Approximate start date the first week of August.
