What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Tech Full Time Rotate position at The Hospitals of Providence - Trans Mountain Campus?
Performs MRI Scan procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic results. Positions and transfers patients. Assists in operating ancillary equipment, processes images, prepares MRI Room, equipment, supplies, medication, and contrast media. Transports patients as needed, assist patients and equipment during procedures and reports any unusual occurrences. Practices sterile technique.
Qualifications
- Completion of formal MRI training from an AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry in MR

MR Registry within one year of employment
- Must have current BLS for health care provider
- Good communication and customer service skills
