We are looking for a hardworking Legal Assistant join our team and ensure cases are processed smoothly. You will work closely with a team of paralegals on Attorney David Jaklitsch's litigation team, as well as our staff as a whole. You will be responsible for conducting research, maintaining documents, and organizing files to ensure we meet our standard of excellence. We are looking for strong communication skills and an attention to detail.

We offer on-the-job training and are looking for a candidate who can learn quickly, regardless of his/her experience. Prior experience is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and amend legal documents (e.g. discovery documents and motions).
- Draft, compile and organize evidence for court proceedings.
- Assist with discovery to help the attorney identify, locate and analyze evidence.
- Organize depositions, hearings and mediations.
- Assist in preparing documents before trial such as witness lists and jury instructions.
- Prepare court exhibits such as charts, graphs, maps and PowerPoint slides.
- Answer office phones, schedule appointments and assist with general office work.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year starting
