Server/Waiter

The James Pub is a modern Irish pub. We promote a team focused work environment. We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance our restaurant's reputation.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner

- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly

- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu

- Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional and efficient manner

- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction

- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and help resolve issues promptly

- Process customer payments using POS system and handle cash transactions

- Collaborate with management and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment is required.

- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards. Serv Safe Allergen certification and TIPS are required.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional guest services

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
