What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production GH position at THE JAMES SKINNER LLC?
Position Summary: This position is responsible for assembling and packaging The James Skinner Baking Company’s food products. There are a range of duties on this food production line that will be rotated every two hours.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics. - Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, GMP’s, and instructions.
- Follow all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.
- Physical labor, fast paced production environment.
- Various duties may include (not limited to the following):
- Taking product off of pans, turning pans, removing product from pans
- Inspect pans/trays for defects and accuracy prior to wrapping, discarding product with defects, damage, ‘snoots’, ‘shouldering’ or foreign material
- Hand forming boxes, taping and stacking boxes
- Manually placing products in cases and boxes
- Most responsibilities and positions are rotated every two hours.
- Be on time and at the job on a consistent basis
- Throughout the production run and at the end of the shift, each person is responsible for general clean up.
