Our team is in need of detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineers to contribute to sponsor missions. In this role, you will work with a dedicated team of professionals to provide full systems engineering support across the system development lifecycle including concept definition, requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, and testing.
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, your primary responsibility will be:
- Evaluating candidate cybersecurity solutions to meet requirements
- Designing secure architectures
- Aligning requirements and architecture to DoD and US Navy cybersecurity standards
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems Security or related field
- Have 3 years experience performing cybersecurity engineering tasks to include requirements definition
- Are able to determine root cause analysis
- Can demonstrate solid networking skills
- Have hands-on experience with common cybersecurity tools
- Are proficient with industry standard Model Based Systems Engineering tools
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills.
- Have the ability to lead, work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Are familiar with DoD standards for Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Are willing to travel to and from sponsor and test sites up to 20% of the time
- Hold an active Secret security clearance and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- Possess a MS or PhD: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems Security or related field
- Have 5-10 years experience with US Navy Combat Systems, weapons, sensors, or other related operational military technology
- Understand how to conduct Analysis of Alternatives to determine the most practical approach to engineering solutions
- Have experience with embedded systems
- Have previously written technical documentation
