Job Purpose
We are seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping others to join our team as an Senior Nutrition Wellness (SNW) Program Coordinator. This position requires punctuality, a vibrant personality, and a dedication to delivering groceries to clients with dignity and respect. Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish, Korean, or Mandarin, is advantageous. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day grocery deliveries and assisting with various program-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Safely transport and deliver items to clients in a timely manner using a U-Haul size vehicle.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and obtain forklift certification.
- Input client demographics into Salesforce database.
- Re-certify clients on an annual basis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Monitor vehicle wear and tear, reporting maintenance needs to the Fleet Manager.
- Any other job duties as assigned
- Must attend six mandatory 'Pop Up & Give' events per year
Qualifications
- Demonstrate values consistent with the stated mission and culture of The Just One Project
- Bilingual English and Spanish (required)
- 2 years experience in office administration (required)
- Capable of sitting, using hands and fingers, talking, and hearing continually. Also, able to climb, balance, stoop, and kneel regularly
- 1 year of Non- Profit Experience (preferred)
- Valid unrestricted Nevada driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Clean driving record (required)
- Forklift certification (required upon hire)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, use hands and fingers, talk or hear continually. Ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull regularly and for extended periods of time. Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly. Must be able to lift, push, pull, etc. efficiently and on a regular basis. Ability to work in fast paced active environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Frequently exposed to various controlled and uncontrolled weather conditions
