What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at The Kathy Herward Child Care Center?
We are currently interviewing for teaching positions at our child care center.
Our Teachers are our most valued resource and our teaching staff share not only ideas and materials, but a sense of family and community that extends outside of our working environment. Classroom teachers and assistants:
- Focus on meeting the nurturing and educational needs of each individual child
- Plan and carry out daily activities using our KHCCC mission and philosophy, yearly curriculum guide and a weekly planner
- Communicate directly with parents through daily greeting, email, conferences, website and classroom app to achieve success for each child
- Maintain a fun and interactive classroom with a stimulating environment – kept clean and organized.
- Participate in continuing education to advance knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education
- Maintain high quality standards of NAEYC Accreditation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
