The POD Maintenance Lead is a pivotal role, responsible for implementing, governing, and measuring best-in-class maintenance practices across a cluster of factories within the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) framework. This role directly supports the Taste, Meals & Snacks business unit and is responsible for maintenance & KHMS strategies at five US based manufacturing sites that align to the Taste, Meals and Snacks POD.Responsibilities:
- Develop and Own Maintenance Strategy: Create and implement the maintenance strategy for the assigned POD in alignment with KHMS guidelines, driving consistency and best practices across sites.
- Drive TPM Excellence: Lead TPM deployment, coaching teams to establish high-performing, self-sustaining, autonomous maintenance teams within a defined timeline.
- Monitor and Optimize Performance: Track critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including unplanned losses, preventive maintenance compliance, Maintenance Repair & Operations (MRO) spend, and gross savings. Develop and execute targeted improvement plans for underperforming metrics.
- Align to Business Priorities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align maintenance initiatives with business goals, prioritizing high-impact improvements.
- Team Development: Assess and enhance maintenance and utilities skillsets across sites, building technical depth and leadership capabilities aligned with business needs.
- CAPEX Planning: Own and manage the five-year Maintenance CAPEX plan for the POD, ensuring investments align with strategic goals.
- Foster Engagement and Culture: Build a culture of efficient execution, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Drive an environment where individuals and teams excel.
