What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Assistant position at The Learning Center?
The position available is a full-time or part time teaching assistant in our infant room. The children range in age from 6 weeks to just under 1. The candidate should have at least 1 to 2 years of teaching experience with infants, OR should be currently taking education courses towards an Early Childhood or Elementary Education degree. The candidate will assist the head teacher in implementing lesson plans, teaching the lesson plans, helping with art projects, feedings and daily routines.
We are looking for someone who is fun, creative, energetic and loves working with this active age group! Candidate must have their own transportation, and be reliable, punctual, nurturing and dedicated to teaching young children. The teaching assistant may also have the opportunity to work with other age groups (Toddlers through Pre-K).
