Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Profitability
- Lead pricing strategy, planning, and execution across all retail channels
- Analyze breakeven points and recommend price adjustments based on margin, POS trends, and customer behaviors
- Develop and maintain robust SKU- and customer-level profitability reporting with clear business recommendations
- Drive governance and process improvements around pricing decisions and trade investment evaluations
- Partner with Sales to analyze customer programs and optimize the mix of margin, volume, and revenue
- Conduct regular audits of customer chargebacks, trade spend, and invoicing for accuracy and compliance; recommend process enhancements
- Monitor competitive pricing and retail market trends to inform pricing, promotional, and channel strategies
- Lead modeling for tariffs, cost changes, pricing shifts, and go-to-market strategies
- Provide cost/benefit and ROI analyses for promotions, innovation launches, and white space opportunities
- Support forecasting and budgeting cycles with detailed inputs on volume, mix, pricing, and margin health
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to inform brand and portfolio-level decisions
- Drive automation and digital reporting improvements to enhance visibility and speed of decision-making
- Collaborate with Product, Trade Marketing, and Supply Chain to improve brand performance, identify cost savings, and support margin expansion initiatives
- Partner with Commercial and Brand teams to model new channel strategies and assess long-term category growth
- Co-develop 2–3 year category plans and financial models for strategic programs such as "Exit China," packaging optimization, or new distribution approaches
- Establish and track key brand health KPIs, translating performance data into actionable strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
- 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or adjacent industries
- Deep understanding of the retail environment, customer programs, and trade investment models
- Proven experience auditing financial systems and driving process improvements
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, Tableau, and ERP system experience a strong plus
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and executive presence with the ability to influence across functions
- Strategic thinker with high attention to detail, a bias for action, and a passion for using data to drive performance

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
