What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at The Little French School?

Want to work with early-learners and be part of the international community in Eugene? Many of our current staff and teachers are from abroad and are highly-educated and are versed in multiple languages, and we are now looking to hire more staff as we expand our program at the Little French School.
If you are teacher-qualified and have an ORO Step 6 or higher, we are looking for you. We are currently looking to expand our on call substitutes list.

Some of the job duties include: substitute in classrooms in any capacity as needed (classroom and office), lead classroom activities, break teachers, facilitate small groups with balanced curriculum and other enrichment activities, building strong relationships with the students, and regularly being present for duties. The on call substitute assists with the daily schedule that focuses on early learning and development and engages students in fun but enriching activities throughout the day. On call substitute teachers will also be expected to interact with parents throughout the day as needed. Compensation is starting at $16/hour for Aide I and $17/hour for Aide II.
