What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher and After School Teachers position at The Little Playroom?

We are seeking kind and energetic individuals who will assist the lead teachers in implementing the daily activities while caring for and supervising children ages 1 and up. As well as lead and assistant teachers in the School Age room for after school care. Part-Time positions available.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth and development
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Communicate with parents on children's growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Follow regulations
- Light cleaning
Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous experience in childcare/babysitting, teaching, or other child related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean background checks
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years or older
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
