Metro One LPSG is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to develop and execute all recruiting strategies and operations, within an assigned region.
Reports to: Talent Manager
Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
- Conducting conditional offers, initiating background checks and drug screens for candidates selected by hiring managers.
- Collaborating with hiring managers/ operations to compile consistent interviews and hiring events.
- Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online job boards, social media, etc.
- Conduct interviews via video platforms and in person.
- Review and disposition recruiting pipeline, status of interviews, hired or rejections.
- Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions based on Metro One hiring standards.
- Keeping up-to-date on current employment requisitions trackers.
- Providing recruitment reports to operations.
- Participate in branch and Talent Acquisition meetings.
- Increase applicant flow by researching and contacting community services, local colleges, and networking within markets.
- Collaborate effectively with human resources to ensure onboarding, compliance, and employee records are accurate at the time of hire.
- Participate in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience as a previous Recruiter or Retail Store Manager
- Experience in security/ military or retail is preferred.
- Ability to be organized and multi task effectively to meet deadlines or prioritize certain tasks.
- Have a high sense of integrity, be customer-centric, results-driven and be agile and open to change and great communicator.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently in an office environment and produce sustainable results with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Kronos/UKG Ready will be especially helpful) and PC skills in MS Office applications
- Stable work history in the past 6 years
- Prove to turn goals into action by creating and executing strategies and plans to achieve objectives.
- Must be able to successfully pass pre employment screenings such as drug screen and thorough background check.
