We are expanding in the local market and beyond, and we want to add members to our amazing team of Senior Accountants at our Corporate office in Omaha, NE! Join us in working for one of the area's leading property management companies!
What You Will Do
Lead the charge for excellence in all accounting transactions for some of the best properties in town!
- Responsible for financial reporting to owner for a portfolio of properties.
- Communicate with owners, investors, and other outside parties on all matters regarding assigned properties.
- Maintain cash balances in accordance with client requirements and prepare transfer and funding requests.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.
- Ensure monthly recurring mortgage, insurance, and miscellaneous payments are approved and processed.
- Lead and coordinate the annual budget process
- Provide tax accountants requested financial reports along with supporting documentation.
- Review bank reconciliations, journal entries, and other transactions prepared by staff accountants.
- Determine and approve owner distributions and contributions.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Experience is equivalent to having a degree
- Three or more years accounting experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Yardi experience a plus!
