What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Houseperson | Rooms Assistant position at The Madison Concourse Hotel?
Our Housekeeping Housepersons are responsible for supporting our Room Attendants in maintaining the cleanliness of guestrooms and providing our guests with clean and comfortable accommodations, all while delivering exceptional service. This position has an AM schedule, typically starting at 8:30am during the week and 9:00am or 9:30am on the weekends. The starting wage for this position is $14.00 per hour plus an extra $1/hour for all Saturday and Sunday hours worked.
Daily Tasks:
- Using the radio to communicate with housekeeping management
- Providing assistance to guests
- Collecting linen and trash from housekeeping carts
- Delivering linen and other supplies to landing storage
- Cleaning public areas as assigned
- Assisting laundry as needed
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Maintaining neat and stocked storage areas
Qualified applicants must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and background check. The Madison Concourse Hotel is a drug-free workplace.
