TEACHER AIDE-MANITOU SCHOOL-PT
Salary: Starting at $16.39/hr., commensurate with experience

The Haldane Central School District (HCSD) is seeking applicants for a part-time (approximately 3.5 to 4 hours daily) Teacher Aide position to support a sixth grade student at The Manitou School, which is a private school located within the boundaries of the HCSD. Compensation commensurate based upon experience and in accordance with Haldane CSEA contract. The exact start and end times each day are to be determined.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who may be anxious, may require support for transitions, and may need some additional structure, reassurance and guidance. More importantly, we are seeking candidates who care deeply for all children and who are willing to learn. The aide will work under the direction of the lead teacher(s) and will be part of a core team of educators that works collaboratively to ensure that all students have a positive, individualized educational experience that meets their specific needs and honors them as important members of the learning community.
