Summary:
This position aids the bakery manager by preparing all donuts and pastries for display case and packaging. The employee in this position will have a firm handle on the entire donut frying process (mixing, slacking, proofing, baking and cooling). This position is responsible for delivering consistent product quality and meeting daily production needs. In addition to understanding the frying process this position requires good judgement/decision-making and math skills. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Mixes Batter
-Plans production and adjusts to meet plan target
-Ensures proper ingredients and consistencies (scales/measures)
Ensures Proper Proofing
-Determine when items are fully proofed
Fry's donuts
-fills, starts and cleans fryer properly
-follows proper technique in dispensing cake donuts and sliding in yeast raised donuts
-follows proper technique in turning donuts and determining correctness of color and consistency
Fills and Ices Donuts
- follows proper technique in filling and icing donuts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
